Background in supporting and troubleshooting M365 and Exchange migrations

Office 365 migration experience and familiarity with Office 365 Admin Console / Center.

Can change Email Domain MX records on their own.

Ability to interact with customers.

Travel required, must have valid Passport

Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Travel to various offices to conduct Site surveys and document hardware systems, software, and infrastructure.
Be able to define the work effort necessary to bring these systems onto the network.
Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security
Work with Dev Ops and Net Ops teams to deploy solutions for corporate users.
Migrate Server data and client permissions onto the Corporate cloud.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and implement those fixes
Maintain security, backup, and business continuity strategies
Provide escalation support for the technology team
Manage Email Domain Hosting and migrating domains over to a different registrar
Change Email Domain mx records to change mail flow
Recreate Email Profiles and be able to assist with troubleshooting mail flow issues
Provide end user training for Email and Cloud Systems.
Must be able to troubleshoot local Outlook issues (ex. the use of command line switches)
Must be able to run Power Shell commands and be able to extract data from legacy Exchange systems

Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and/or Ability

10+ years’ experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPOs
Ability to work with minimal direction
Ability to work with a Distributed team
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely at multiple levels between business and IT staff
Experience with working with Vendors to update Email preferences. Experience with virtualization (VMWare)
Understanding of monitoring systems (PRTG, Nagios)
Experience with Backup and Replication systems (Backup Exec, Double-Take, Recover Point, Veeam)
Need to be comfortable running Power Shell commands to extract data out of Exchange
Microsoft Exchange or O365 Migration and troubleshooting experience.
Outstanding time management and problem-solving skills
End user Training and documentation experience
Experience with O365 Migration tools like AvePoint, Bit Titan, etc..
Experience with Proofpoint a plus
Knowledge of migrating and validating SharePoint, One drive, and teams from one tenant to another.
