We are committed to providing exceptional support to healthcare professionals, and we are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our internal support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, ensuring our internal staff have the reliable technology they need to support our network of nurses and healthcare partners.

- Serving as the initial point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, or through our ticketing system.
- Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner, ensuring clear communication throughout the resolution process.
- Managing user accounts, including creation, modification, and password resets.
- Escalating unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Maintaining a log of all issues and their resolutions in the helpdesk system.
- Assisting in the development of IT documentation and user support guides.
- Proven experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and software.
- Experience with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- The ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues efficiently.
- A patient and professional demeanour when dealing with users of varying technical abilities.
- A relevant professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A competitive hourly wage of $25 - $30 USD
