We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst (Data Analyst) for a hybrid contract in Austin, TX
.
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, and performs studies and cost/benefit analyses of potential solutions. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and business processes to automate processing or improve existing computer systems. Confers with stakeholders to analyze current operational procedures, identify issues, and define input/output requirements, including data formats, reporting needs, and business processes. Documents detailed business requirements, program functions, and system enhancements.
Reviews system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine the feasibility of requested changes. Leads Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, elicits and documents business and data requirements, performs data quality analysis, develops and executes complex SQL queries and joins, and designs dashboards with measures and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making. Participates throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through implementation, while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver technology solutions.
- 8+ years of experience supporting the design, development, or delivery of technology solutions.
- 8+ years of experience working with Integrated Eligibility systems, including full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) involvement from requirements through implementation.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis and data analysis.
- 8+ years of experience conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and data analysis findings.
- 8+ years of experience using SQL, including developing and executing complex queries and joins.
- 8+ years of experience analyzing data quality.
- 8+ years of experience designing dashboards, including measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- 4+ years of previous experience with the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS).
