Description:
- Develop and implement data governance solutions using the Alation platform
- Define & implement comprehensive data catalog using Alation and ensuring that data assets are accurately described, categorized.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work with data stewards to identify critical data elements and define data lineage
- Integrate Alation with other enterprise systems, Data Governance tools / Solutions
- Design & develop custom workflows and integrations with other systems to automate data governance processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve Alation issues.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, metadata (technical and business) and data governance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Alation features and best practices
