About YouAs an Application/Platform Administrator, you will serve a critical role, with responsibility for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of RMS core applications. You will work directly with operations, policy administration, claims, underwriting, and member service departments.
You’ll be joining a team of nine other people, fellow administrators, product owners, project manager, and leadership. Your primary focus area will be two-fold, both managing issues and maintaining applications, as well as contributing to the build-out of our technical roadmap by developing enhancements. applications, as well as contributing to the build-out of our technical roadmap by developing enhancements.
A Typical Day- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues causing downtime or diminished functionality for our end users.
- Enhancing the applications we support. You’ll work directly with business leaders across the organization, to understand, document, design, and develop application-level solutions to support many of our most important initiatives.
- You’ll collaborate heavily with Product Owners and Project managers to execute the RMS technical roadmap.
- Maintain RMS applications by applying software patches, updates, and preemptive issue identification.
- Writing root cause analysis, knowledge articles, system workflows, technical requirements, and design documentation.
- Managing platform security, including users, roles, and permissions.
- Troubleshooting work requests and incidents from end users.
- Researching technical documentation, release notes, knowledge articles, and other sources to become a subject matter expert for the applications you support.
- Leveraging your expertise to document and share knowledge with other administrators via mentoring, training, and joint projects as well as assisting with complex incidents.
