- Lead technology implementations, integrations, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve business efficiency.
- Manage IT vendors, software licenses, contracts, and relationships.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network, and systems issues.
- Partner directly with business leaders to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
- Drive automation and process improvements, including opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies.
- Establish strong security, access, onboarding/offboarding, and IT infrastructure standards.
- Lead projects from concept through implementation and adoption.
- Help build and scale the IT function as the organization continues to grow.
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems, or a related area.
- Experience managing IT projects and implementing technology across an organization.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, systems administration, cloud technologies, and business applications.
- Experience evaluating technology solutions and managing vendors.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- A hands-on, ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to operate strategically while still getting into the details.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- AWS and/or Microsoft Azure experience
- AI tools such as Claude
- IT ticketing systems and workflow automation
- Software integrations, migrations, or system consolidation
- Professional services or law firm experience
- Quick Books, Box, or practice management systems
- High-impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership
- Opportunity to shape IT strategy and build out the function
- Significant opportunity to drive AI, automation, and technology modernization
- Growing organization with plans to expand the IT team
- Competitive compensation with flexibility based on experience
