IT Training Manager

Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin seeks an IT Training Manager to design, implement, and manage technology training programs for faculty, clinicians, researchers, and staff. You will lead needs assessments, create curricula for clinical and academic systems (EHR, LMS, collaboration tools), and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training. Partner with IT and clinical leaders to support system rollouts, create documentation, track adoption metrics, and coach super users.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage IT training strategies for clinical, academic, and enterprise systems.
• Conduct needs assessments and align training with institutional goals and initiatives.
• Develop curricula, course materials, and documentation for in-person and virtual delivery.
• Deliver engaging trainings, workshops, and just-in-time support to diverse user groups.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and academic leaders on new system rollouts and upgrades.
• Create and maintain user guides, e-learning modules, and knowledge base resources.
• Establish and track training metrics, adoption data, and user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coach and coordinate super users and champions across departments.
• Ensure training aligns with adult learning best practices and accessibility standards.
• Support change management and communication efforts for new technologies.
