- Directs and oversees the technical aspects of all web development projects, establishing and enforcing coding standards to ensure all work is clean, efficient, and well-documented
- Provides technical advice and mentorship to junior developers and other team members
- Leads collaboration with stakeholders to interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
- Analyzes and evaluates web property performance, partnering with the Digital Marketing Analyst to interpret data and present strategic recommendations for improvement
- Designs and implements complex A/B and multivariate tests, assessing their effectiveness to optimize key performance metrics
- Evaluates and assesses industry trends, presenting strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital innovation
- Prepares and presents technical documentation, project plans, and reports to internal and external audiences
- Manages integrations with our growth stack, including Hub Spot for lead capture, Google Tag Manager for event tracking, and other technologies
- Implements advanced SEO strategies (SSR/SSG, JSON-LD schema, automated sitemaps, llms.txt) to maintain our search rankings
- Owns Core Web Vitals to ensure lightning-fast load times
- Works closely with our brand team to build and maintain a scalable design system that ensures brand consistency across marketing pages and interfaces
- Provides guidance on cross-functional projects where advanced subject matter expertise is needed
- May lead projects or teams
- Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or related field. Four (4) years of relevant education and work experience may be substituted for degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of web development experience
- Well versed in industry developments, techniques, and trends
- Proficiency with Headless CMS platforms (Sanity, Word Press, etc.) and marketing automation integrations (Hub Spot)
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in Word Press, Sanity, or other content management systems and building architecture
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in web design tools, comfortable in Figma and capable of translating complex designs into responsive web components
- Ability to maintain a codebase using Git
- Ability to run effective A/B or multivariate testing
