Our client, a leading organization in the technology infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Administrator 3 to join their dynamic team. As a Network Administrator 3, you will be integral to supporting and maintaining the core network infrastructure that powers critical operations. Job Title: Network Administrator 3
Location: Rockdale, TX (Onsite)
Pay Range: $62-$65
What's the Job?- Design, deploy, and support advanced data center network fabrics, including VXLAN EVPN Spine-Leaf architectures.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and static routes to ensure optimal network performance.
- Support and maintain data center switching platforms and network infrastructure, including Arista, Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Aruba technologies.
- Perform onsite troubleshooting of network, server, and application connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Lead network upgrades, hardware refreshes, migrations, and expansion projects to enhance network capabilities.
- 7+ years of enterprise or data center network engineering experience with a focus on large-scale environments.
- Hands-on experience with VXLAN EVPN fabrics, Spine-Leaf architectures, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, and network monitoring tools.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production networks and supporting cloud networking platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work onsite and perform physical troubleshooting within a data center environment.
