QIZ Security | Remote (US) | Full-Time
Role OverviewThis is the first SE hire in North America. You will be the technical voice of QIZ in strategic sales conversations - working directly with security architects, cryptography teams, and CISOs across financial services, critical infrastructure, federal, and large enterprise accounts.
You will own the technical thread in every customer and partner engagement: running discovery, delivering demos and architecture discussions, designing and supporting POCs, and helping design partners shape how QIZ fits into their environments. You will also support channel partner enablement as we scale our partner ecosystem in the US.
This role reports to the Head of Sales, North America, and works closely with the product and engineering teams in Israel.
What You'll DoPre‑Sales and Technical Discovery
- Run technical discovery with prospects: understanding their cryptographic estate, PKI/CA architecture, compliance obligations, and PQC readiness posture
- Deliver tailored demos and architecture discussions on QIZ's platform to audiences ranging from security architects to CISOs
- Scope and run Proofs of Concept with clear success criteria and measurable outcomes
- Lead RFI/RFP technical responses and complete security questionnaires
- Translate complex cryptographic topics into clear business language when talking to non-technical stakeholders
Customer Engagement
- Work closely with customers and prospects to understand their environments, verify QIZ's approach, and capture structured feedback for the product team
- Serve as the technical point of contact for US accounts in Sales engagement phase.
Partner Enablement
- Support channel partner onboarding and technical enablement for federal and commercial partners
- Help partners understand QIZ's differentiation and position it accurately in their customer conversations
Feedback and Collaboration
- Serve as the field voice back into product and engineering: surfacing patterns, gaps, and opportunities from real customer conversations
- Contribute to technical content - solution briefs, architecture guides, POC playbooks
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role:
Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Security Architect, or similar - Working knowledge of cryptography: PKI, X.509, TLS, certificate lifecycle, symmetric and asymmetric encryption - enough to hold a credible technical conversation with a cryptography manager or security architect
- Familiarity with enterprise security environments: how large organizations manage identity, certificates, and infrastructure at scale
- Strong communication skills: can simplify complex topics without losing accuracy, comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences
- Experience supporting an enterprise sales cycle, including POC management and RFP responses
- Based in the US;able to travel for customer and partner meetings
- Background in the certificate lifecycle management or PKI space
- Exposure to post-quantum cryptography or crypto-agility programs, either in a consulting or enterprise environment
- Experience selling into or supporting engagements with financial services, federal, or critical infrastructure customers
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks: NIST FIPS 203/204/205, CNSA 2.0, PCI DSS 4.0, NYDFS Part 500, DORA
- East Coast preference
