Our Austin, TX Entertainment & Live Events team insures a variety of clients in the music, live event, film, theater, and production industries, and clients' events across the U.S. and world. When unexpected delays, cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances arise, our clients receive best-in-class support and service to mitigate their risks and exposures.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team to assist with a wide spectrum of commercial insurance lines including casualty, property, workers comp, E&O, D&O Cyber-Liability coverages.

In-Office, 5 days a week in our Austin, TX office. Must be willing & able to work from 9am-6pm Monday thru Friday. (

NOTE:

May be open to 1 day a week from home once fully trained on the role.)

• At least 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience required
• Candidates with strong, professional communication skills – both written and verbal. Ideal candidates can successfully pivot between providing detailed and accurate written communication, as well as picking up the phone and having a detailed verbal conversation.
• High attention to detail, and the ability to learn and understand software systems quickly.
• Candidates who adapt well to priority changes, deadlines, and consistently are quick to respond to and/or acknowledge communications (both from internal & external sources).
• Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently.

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

• Effective and timely communication with all clients - email, letters & telephone
• Review the needs of all customers and advise on the appropriate insurers, coverage and pricing
• Prepare insurance applications for required coverage lines
• Put together accurate, timely, professional and compliant presentations, reports and other market and client documents as required
• Review of client contracts and insurance requirements
• Issuance of certificates of insurance and coverage binders
• Comply thoroughly with any delegated authorities to which we are subject
• Invite renewals and new business expediently and maximize retention and new business
• Checking and issuing of insurance documentation
• Preparation of premium invoices and client accounting statements
• Complete various reports as required throughout the insurance cycle
• Liaise as necessary with insurers in relation to client's policies
• Actively discuss any additional products, cover and services that the client needs and requests
• Maintain and update electronic client files
• Minimized aged debt
• Such other duties as the Senior or line management may from time to time require

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial account manager role
• Current property/casualty license
• Experience with agency management software (preferably Sagitta)
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of commercial insurance lines
