The Translation & Interpretation Services provides school-based educational or related services. This role collaborates with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide written translation of educational documents.
- Interpret during ARD/IEP meetings, conferences, and school events.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure culturally appropriate communication.
- Translate forms and correspondence accurately.
- Support communication between families and staff.
- Meet established deadlines.
- Maintain professional standards.
- Follow district policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Fluency in English and one or more target languages; interpretation/translation experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Educational translation experience.
- Knowledge of special education terminology.
- Professional interpreter certification preferred.
