Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. The successful candidate will be a key player in our fast-paced, high-stakes litigation team, primarily focusing on insurance defense litigation. You will be part of a supportive team environment that values your contributions and helps you grow professionally while delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
  • Representing clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation, from inception to resolution.
  • Conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Engaging in discovery, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions.
  • Developing case strategies based on the review and analysis of evidence and legal precedent.
  • Managing relationships with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court staff.
  • Preparing for and participating in trials, hearings, mediations, and settlements.
  • Advising clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities.
  • Staying abreast of current trends and changes in insurance defense litigation.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction.
  • Participating in professional development activities to maintain and enhance legal knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases independently and effectively.
  • Proven track record of achieving favorable results for clients in insurance defense litigation.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
