Our prestigious law firm is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Appellate Attorney to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished legal professional to engage in complex appellate matters, work on significant legal issues, and contribute to our firm s reputation as a leader in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and drafting appellate briefs, presenting oral arguments, and advising trial attorneys on legal strategy.

This position requires a deep understanding of the law, excellent analytical skills, and a strong commitment to client service.

• Conducting extensive legal research and analysis on complex appellate issues.
• Drafting, editing, and finalizing persuasive appellate briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Presenting oral arguments before appellate courts.
• Advising trial attorneys on legal strategy, including the identification and preservation of issues for appeal.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure the best representation for our clients.
• Keeping informed of developments in the law and disseminating information to colleagues.
• Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.

The ideal candidate for the Appellate Attorney position must possess the following qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing in the State Bar of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in appellate practice, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Demonstrated experience in legal research and writing, with a strong ability to analyze and apply legal principles, facts, and precedents to legal problems.
• Experience presenting oral arguments before appellate courts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal arguments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• High degree of professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
