We are currently seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of labor and employment litigation matters. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes labor and employment cases, providing direct counsel to clients and representing them in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative tribunals.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in a wide range of labor and employment disputes, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, wage and hour violations, and non-compete agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable labor and employment laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Develop litigation strategies and present cases in court or before administrative tribunals.
- Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws to prevent potential legal disputes.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective and efficient case management.
- Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations, and educate clients and colleagues on these changes.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in defense civil litigation with interest or experience in specializing in employment litigation.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Proven track record of successfully representing clients in labor and employment disputes.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
