Litigation Associate

Overview

Our client, one of Texas’ leading full-service law firms, is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate to join their Austin Litigation Practice Group. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters alongside some of the most experienced trial lawyers in the state. They are looking for a candidate eager to take ownership of cases, develop strategic thinking, and contribute meaningfully to client success.

• Handle a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, and participate in hearings and depositions.
• Work directly with clients and senior attorneys to develop case strategy and manage litigation matters efficiently.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and other documents.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent client service while maintaining the firm’s standards of professionalism and integrity.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Texas.
• 2 to 4 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated legal writing and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
