Job Description

As a Senior Associate Employment Attorney at Tully Rinckey PLLC, you will provide comprehensive legal representation to employees across a wide range of workplace matters. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated litigator with strong judgment, excellent drafting skills, and a client‑focused approach to advocacy.

You will:

  • Represent employees in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance agreements, and workplace policies
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other substantive legal filings
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies
  • Advocate for clients in mediations, arbitrations, administrative hearings, and state and federal courts
  • Counsel clients on their rights and obligations under Texas and federal employment laws
  • Stay current on developments in employment law to provide informed and strategic representation
What Are We Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years of Texas private‑sector employment law experience
  • Demonstrated success representing employees in workplace disputes
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal drafting skills
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
  • Excellent communication and client‑relation skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client advocacy

Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys at Tully Rinckey PLLC receive a starting salary of $125,000, along with the opportunity to earn performance‑based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary, rewarding productivity, excellence, and client impact. Employees will also receive access to a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:

  • 100% employer match on 401(k) contributions up to 6% for full‑time employees.
  • Three weeks of paid time off after 18 months of full‑time employment.
