Corporate Associate Attorney

Location: Austin, TX (In Office but Flexible)

A well-established and growing law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking an M&A Associate Attorney to join its corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to work on sophisticated middle‑market transactions in a collaborative, supportive environment.

• Represent buyers, sellers, and investors in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, merger agreements, and related ancillary documents
• Conduct and manage due diligence reviews and coordinate with internal teams and external advisors
• Assist with transaction structuring and closing processes
• Provide general corporate support, including entity formation, governance, and commercial agreements

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar membership or ability to waive in
• 2–5 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions or corporate transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and collaboratively

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $230,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
