Real Estate Litigation Attorney

The position will be responsible for managing case files, researching law, preparing legal documents, investigating facts as well as attending hearings, mediations and trials. Provide legal advice, guidance and support concerning real estate and business issues, and legal rights and obligations. This position requires the ability to identify complex legal, real estate, and business issues, desire and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.

Qualified candidates must have the following:

CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE AUSTIN area (no out of state candidates)

A member of the Texas Bar and in good standing

minimum of 3 years of legal litigation experience

Excellent academic credentials

Strong writing and research abilities

Self-starter

Desire and ability to thrive in a team atmosphere

Willingness to be part of a dynamic and client focused environment

Compensation up to $175K

1. Legal technology savvy and comfortable creating and working with a defined process using various software packages;
2. Able to do tasks quickly and use common sense solutions;
3. Willing to do what is always needed to make our clients happy;
4. Detail-oriented and organized;
5. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal with excellent interpersonal skills and experience with public speaking;
6. Comfortable preparing detailed legal documents to include high-level legal analysis with the ability to review and assimilate large volumes of complex information in an efficient and effective manner;
7. Comfortable with and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
8. Proactive with assignments and able to advance litigation files efficiently;
9. Resourceful and trustworthy including excellent business and legal judgment and independent strategic thought with the ability to act as a trusted legal counsel for clients.
