Project Assistant - Legal Contracts

The HT Group is partnering with a highly respected Austin-based law firm in search of a Project Assistant to support its Construction Contracts team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience reviewing and editing documents who thrives in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, exceptional written communication abilities, and an Associate’s degree. • Manage Construction Contracts inbox and track new/pending requests
• Review bonds and insurance for contract compliance
• Track status of contract, bond, and insurance modifications
• Review service agreements against approved templates
• Provide feedback when agreements deviate from standard forms
• Draft, revise, and format contracts using track changes
• Collect supporting documents from internal departments
• Compare contracts to templates and flag discrepancies
• Collaborate with attorney on contract revisions
  
  Coordinate contract updates and schedule negotiation calls
• Assist with default and termination notices

• 3+ years of experience in a professional office environment
• Exceptional proofreading and document editing skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with Workshare or similar document comparison tools preferred
• Associate's degree required
