Job Title: HKL Material Planner

Location: USA – Hockley, 20401 Betka Rd

Division: Solutions

Job Area: Procurement

Time Type: Full Time

• Act as liaison between the Direct Fulfilment Program Manager, demand planners, and the DB Schenker BTS fulfilment site.
• Ensure all commitments from the various demand planning groups meet agreed product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing needed material within agreed timelines.
• Manage lead times of all purchase orders placed on behalf of the customer and report on commitments.
• Expedite purchase orders as needed.
• Ensure the recommit process is followed when required.
• Review the backlog report, coordinate any exclusions with suppliers, and review recommits and rejected expedited requests.
• Review suppliers’ build/ship plans to ensure they meet the commitments based on purchase order commit dates.
• Identify and document on‑time shipment (OTS) issues to eliminate orders shipping after the scheduled date; report findings weekly.
• Manually schedule orders falling outside the product’s scheduled lead time with the supplier and identify reasons for schedule gaps.
• Monitor lead times of all purchase orders and report on lead‑time achievements; manage the process for correcting failures.
