Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in supply chain management, specifically in supply planning, vendor management, or logistics.
- Experience with data center infrastructure or cloud network components (e.g., optical components, networking hardware).
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in electronics, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.
- 2 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.
- Experience with data analysis (e.g., spreadsheet software, SQL).
- Experience in supply chain management, supplier relationship management, manufacturing, or supply/demand planning.
- Experience with problem‑solving and investigative tasks (e.g., modeling and presentations).
The Global Infrastructure and Energy (GIE) team plans, acquires, builds, and operates the network infrastructure from Google’s data centers to every Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the world. Our mission is to make connectivity ubiquitous between every machine and every user on the internet. The Network Supply Chain and Commercial Operations (NOSCO) team’s mission is to responsibly and responsively execute the end‑to‑end supply chain and commercial operations required to support our customers.
Network Supply Chain and Commercial Operations (NOSCO) focuses on delivering performance that supports network reliability, predictable capacity delivery, and cost efficiencies, which are all key priorities for Google’s network.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Manage procurement in line with the allocated budget.
- Validate the supply plan and ensure that materials are delivered on time with minimal delivery performance and quality issues.
- Report data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with the supplier and drive incremental improvements in supplier performance by establishing and executing an Operational Excellence Framework.
- Plan and deliver supply chain transformation initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for supply planning related to user journeys, requirements, design, and implementation schedules.
