Job Summary
As a Global Supply Chain Manager, he or she will manage efficient supply operations to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction while meeting overall business requirements. The responsibility extends to driving and achieving business & financial results for the products/programs. Responsibilities include implementing, monitoring and maintaining supply chain management processes and strategies to deliver products to meet or exceed customers' needs.
The role focuses on managing programs and/or product supplies through coordination of various internal/external functional groups among CN/VN/MX. It requires confidence in implementing complex project schedules and meeting deadlines and deliverables within a structured Time to Market process. Ultimately, this position will be the end‑to‑end owner of the supply chain account.
- Performs weekly updates for continuity of supply & mitigation of risk to customer.
- Develops, implements, and maintains supply chain management processes/strategies to increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations.
- Develops customer and partner relationships and/or sponsorship.
- Performs forecast, capacity, and inventory trend analysis.
- Understands manufacturing supply chain processes and requirements for cost analysis.
- Communicates and resolves any supply chain issues between factories and customers.
- Exercises overall ownership of the managed accounts.
- Acts as a bridge among customers and factory, R&D, support, suppliers, etc.
- Oversees production/delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with timely deliveries.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, information technology, marketing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, business, or technical field.
- Must be able to travel 3–4 times a year for 3–4 weeks at a time to Mexico/Asia.
- Excellent reading, writing, and verbal skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Supply chain experience in PC/Server manufacturing.
- Understands technology trends.
- Detail‑oriented with superb time‑management, organizational, and execution skills to meet deadlines; able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive professional with a lot of patience.
- High level of flexibility, discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively on a team and independently on multiple high‑priority projects.
- MS or MBA degree.
