AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. You’ll join a diverse team of engineers and supply chain specialists to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
Key responsibilities- Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
- Understand the technical requirements of partners and work closely with internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities that will impact the supply chain.
- Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
- Handle multiple projects at once, dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
- Maintain continuity of supply for categories and/or components; develop action plans and execute supply chain strategies.
- Lead internal engagements across Supply Chain, Engineering, NPI, Logistics, Planning and Business organizations while engaging closely with suppliers on supply monitoring and status.
- Manage supplier relationships and communication; track orders and inventory levels, process purchase orders, ensure timely delivery, coordinate material requirements with internal teams, maintain procurement documentation, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Material/inventory planning.
- Supply/demand planning and forecasting.
- Maintaining continuity of supply (COS).
- Communicating supply status, risks/mitigations to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Working with data and analytics (viewing, editing, extrapolating data in Excel or similar spreadsheet software).
- Working with suppliers/vendors, inventory warehousing teams.
- Managing electromechanical component supply chain (Power Supply Units, Inverters, batteries, racks, frames, mechanical accessories, chassis, fans, heatsinks, etc.).
- Capacity planning (expanding new manufacturing lines).
- 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations experience.
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.
- 4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
