Job Description

JOB DUTIES:

Requires experience buying small component parts, hard drives and cables. Needs familiarity with the standard distribution suppliers. MRP experience preferred. Knowledge of a PO system (no specific one required). Ensures timely order placement of product or service requirements from pre-selected sources of supply. Issues releases against pre-established blanket purchase orders. Provides follow-up information on delivery schedule status. Prepares and maintains reports and files.

Provides general assistance to Buyers and Section Managers in routine purchasing activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND

EDUCATION:

Minimum of 0-2 years of direct purchasing experience;

R equires knowledge of purchasing systems and procedures;

Word processing and spreadsheet skills highly desirable;

Electronic component experience, preferred

Experience:

Direct and Indirect purchasing (Min 3 years and more than 5 preferred)
Electronics background preferred
Communication with Stakeholders

Skills:

SAP S/4 or SAP Ariba to process Purchase Orders (Knowledge on the process)
PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, Word processing and
- Tracking PO's and reports.
