Sr. Global Supply Chain Manager, AWS Infrastructure Services

Job Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As part of the AIS Power & Cooling team, you will manage the end‑to‑end global supply chain for Power & Cooling Equipment categories that support AWS Data Center build projects. The role focuses on maintaining unconstrained supply, developing supply‑chain strategies, and driving cost efficiency while supporting AWS scale.

• Develop, implement, and manage supply chain strategies on a global scale
• De‑risk supply chain constraints through sustainable long‑term strategies for tier‑1 solutions and tier‑2+ critical components
• Drive the strategic aspects of large complex cross‑functional projects
• Develop and maintain supplier capacity modeling from equipment and on‑site commissioning support perspectives
• Understand demand inputs and position supply to support unconstrained growth at AWS scale in the short‑term and long‑term horizons
• Engage with global supply chain counterparts to drive leading supply chain practices and initiatives
• Partner with engineering teams to drive successful new product deployments at scale
• Drive innovation through the supply chain and influence industry practices
• Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision‑making
• Manage supplier lead times and drive them to meet AWS business requirements
• Manage supplier performance and allocation of material to demands based on priority
• Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets in which you engage
• Manage cross‑functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
• Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable, relative advantage in your category
• Require travel up to 15% of the year

• 6+ years of related industry experience
• 6+ years of multi‑million dollar contract negotiation experience
• 6+ years of supply chain experience
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field, or 6+ years of related supply chain experience
• 4+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, infrastructure or data center construction industries
• 6+ years experience in supplier performance management in sourcing and/or supply chain with direct ownership of executive‑level negotiation

• Direct experience in electrical distribution equipment procurement

Base salary range:  –  USD annually. The total Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location.
