Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating pricing and managing non‑strategic suppliers under supervision. Your duties include issuing RFQs, evaluating bids, expediting orders, and handling purchase orders through delivery, payment, and record‑keeping to ensure timely and cost‑effective sourcing of materials and services. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify potential suppliers, support contract negotiations, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Additionally, you will resolve procurement, receiving, and accounting issues, leveraging SAP and Ariba to facilitate purchasing, data analysis, inventory tracking, and reporting.
Your responsibilities also encompass supporting process improvements, handling small projects, and mentoring less experienced team members. This role emphasizes strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills, along with applying supply chain knowledge to streamline operations and enhance supplier relationships.

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 1–3 years (entry‑level) or 3–5 years (intermediate) experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement strategies, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management
- Proficiency in SAP and Ariba, with excellent data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience in supplier evaluation focusing on cost, quality, and reliability
- Proven negotiation, communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and follow procurement procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Willingness to work onsite full‑time in Austin, TX, with overtime as required

Pay Details: $27.90 to $37.74 per hour
