Sr Manager, Procurement - Leader

Raytheon (RTX) is seeking a Procurement Lead to support the Naval Power business area. The candidate will manage procurement efforts, foster supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements while leading a geographically dispersed team.

• Lead and manage the procurement team, establishing performance metrics and providing on‑the‑job training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to clarify scope, define requirements, and prepare statements of work.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with regulations, secure required approvals before purchase order release.
• Address conflicts or risks with terms and supplier conditions; engage specialists as needed.
• Support supplier engagement activities, including negotiations, performance management, and supplier recovery efforts.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and seven (7) years of experience.
• U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
• Availability to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, procurement and contracting processes, and experience managing CPFF/IF/AF and FFP purchase orders.
• Experience with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Program Management, Engineering, Materials Program Managers, etc.).

• Significant experience leading and managing procurement teams and processes.
• Proactive supplier management, engagement, and recovery experience.
• Broad knowledge of procurement and contracting with an understanding of cross‑functional impacts.
• Experience managing financial and operational risks and opportunities.
• Supplier and customer negotiation experience.
• In‑depth understanding of defense technologies and import/export regulations.
• Experience recruiting, training, mentoring, and building high‑performing teams.
• Executive‑level presentation and communication skills.

USD 132,400 – 251,600 (based on experience).
