We are looking for a Supply Chain Product Manager to help build a scalable, predictive, and prescriptive supply‑chain risk management solution for our AIS Power and Cooling organization. You will be part of the AIS Power and Cooling new product development team working with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Construction and other partner teams to achieve our goals.
This role requires an individual with excellent knowledge of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. You will integrate across teams to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing supply‑chain risks. Data‑driven decision‑making is at the core of Amazon’s culture. You will own building solutions and administering supply‑chain risk management that enable senior leaders to make critical business decisions.
Key Job Responsibilities- Execute strategic plans that improve service, productivity, and quality aligned with the overall organization’s vision.
- Develop and implement systems of accountability to ensure ongoing, measurable performance improvement.
- Understand the requirements of our technical partners and work closely with internal and external new product development teams to lead the supply chain strategy vision and execution.
- Prepare and present detailed data‑driven business reviews to senior leadership focused on supply‑chain risk management.
- Drive strategic supply‑chain risk reviews and mitigations with internal teams.
- 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience.
- 6+ years of related industry experience.
- 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business.
- Experience leading and defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations.
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product company.
- Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
- Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction.
- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners.
- Experience practicing best‑in‑class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should‑cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent).
Location:
Austin, TX and Seattle, WA. Base salary range: $147,900 – $200,100 USD annually. Package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
