We are seeking a highly driven Customer Samples Program Manager to take full, end‑to‑end ownership of our customer samples program for power semiconductor products directed at the AI and infrastructure markets. This role is responsible for ensuring customer samples for products both in development and in production are delivered on time. The ideal candidate combines strong program/project management skills with operational and planning acumen, and is capable of driving alignment across sales, manufacturing, planning, and warehouse/logistics teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end‑to‑end customer samples program, from forecasting, engineering builds and delivery commitments to inventory management and final delivery.
- Manage the customer sample forecasting process, working with sales and account teams to capture accurate, timely demand signals.
- Maintain a rolling forecast of sample requests by customer, part number, and required ship date.
- Translate sample forecasts into build plans, working with manufacturing, operations and engineering teams to ensure samples are built to meet customer‑committed dates.
- Track build status from work order through completion, proactively flagging delays and driving resolution.
- Prioritize and sequence sample builds when capacity is constrained, balancing customer urgency with manufacturing reality.
- Monitor sample inventory levels in the warehouse, ensuring visibility into what is on hand, allocated, and available.
- Own the customer commitment date for every sample request and report status proactively to internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain metrics/dashboards to track on‑time delivery performance, build cycle time, and inventory accuracy.
- Identify bottlenecks across forecasting, build, and fulfillment, and lead process improvements to increase speed and reliability.
- Escalate critical issues impacting on‑time delivery or inventory accuracy.
- Document and continuously refine the end‑to‑end samples process as the business scales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, demand planning, or program management.
- Experience in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, or related hardware industries preferred; strong working knowledge of forecasting/demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory management concepts.
- Comfortable working directly with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management tools; advanced Excel skills required.
- Demonstrated track record of owning a cross‑functional process end‑to‑end and delivering results without needing to be chased.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with sales, manufacturing, engineering, planning, and warehouse/logistics teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many concurrent sample requests with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Bias toward action: comfortable identifying problems and driving them to resolution rather than escalating and waiting.
