Senior Global Category Manager, Amazon Custom Modules

We are looking for a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world. This role will lead sourcing, pricing, geo‑diversity, and second source manufacturing efforts for supply resiliency for additional AI/ML PCBAs added to our product roadmap. The role will manage additional supply chain complexity when qualifying suppliers and manufacturing lines transition from development to mass production.
It will deliver multi‑sourcing strategies, pricing, and enable contract manufacturing to ensure supply chain resiliency for our expanding AI/ML roadmap. The role will lead line qualification, capacity planning, and contract agreements during product development so that at launch, PCBA manufacturing capacity is scalable to meet our customer needs.
- Develop and implement PCBA supply sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
- Understand industry and technology trends.
- Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives.
- Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
- Provide weekly core‑team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and manage vendor escalations to resolve category related issues.
- Present to senior leadership via written narratives.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
