Job Description Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing small component parts, hard drives, cables, and other electronic components from approved suppliers.
• Maintain familiarity with standard distribution suppliers and ensure timely procurement of products and services from pre-selected sources.
• Utilize MRP systems and purchase order (PO) systems to support purchasing activities and ensure accurate order placement.
• Issue releases against established blanket purchase orders and monitor supplier commitments.
• Track and provide updates on delivery schedules, order status, and potential delays.
• Prepare, maintain, and update purchasing reports, documentation, and files.
• Provide support to Buyers and Section Managers with routine purchasing activities and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing-related issues.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum of 5–7 years of direct purchasing/procurement experience

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, systems, and procedures.
• Experience with electronic components, including small parts, cables, and hardware components, is preferred.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and purchase order management processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders.
