Supply Chain Product Manager, New Product Introductions

Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to provide continuous access to the innovation our customers rely on. Working across engineering, hardware, network, security, and operations, the team delivers the highest standards for safety and security while achieving seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.

The Networking New Product Introduction (NPI) team partners with engineering, capacity deployment, suppliers, data center operations, and supply‑chain commodity managers to launch new products that support AWS networking's product launch plans, integrate supply‑chain continuity, and minimize excess or obsolete materials.

Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic plans that improve service, productivity and quality, aligning with overall organizational vision.
  • Understand partners’ technical requirements and collaborate with internal development teams to guide supply‑chain activities.
  • Prepare and provide data‑driven business reviews to senior management focused on new product launches.
  • Drive strategic BOM reviews to ensure multi‑sourcing of critical components and timely qualifications.
  • Manage strategic inventory of long‑lead, unique materials to ensure successful launch and post‑launch scaling.
  • Develop and implement accountability systems for continuous, measurable performance improvement.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working effectively across cross‑functional teams and coaching junior staff.
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
