WhoYou Are:
As Nutrabolt’s Sourcing Specialist – Raw Materials, you will collaborate closely with internal leadership and external supply partners to support strategic sourcing initiatives. Core responsibilities include managing raw material qualifications, conducting impact and variance analyses, and supporting long-range material forecasting. In this role, you will develop and optimize tools to enhance data collection efficiency—through automation, standardization, and process improvements—and proactively deliver actionable insights and recommendations to the sourcing team.
WhatYou’re Good At:
- Manage and maintain the end‑to‑end raw material qualification process, including tracking approval status, gathering all required documentation, HTS import codes, and confirming MOQs and shipping origin details.
- Own the raw material vendor setup process, including collecting all required documentation and providing clear, accurate allocation instructions to ensure proper onboarding and alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Support the raw material ordering process, including managing transfers, coordinating expedites, and facilitating trial production needs to ensure timely material availability.
- Maintain strong relationships with our flavor partners by communicating new product needs, sharing forecast updates, and confirming pricing.
- Support the raw material contracting process by assisting in material run‑out analyses, identifying risk windows, and offering informed recommendations to guide negotiation and decision‑making.
- Maintain, update, and collaborate with key internal stakeholders on the BOM tool, ensuring accuracy and alignment to support effective forecasting and planning.
- Gather, analyze, and report supply market intelligence, including tariff impacts, freight cost fluctuations, and other external factors influencing raw material risk and pricing.
- Publish quarterly freight lane updates by collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy.
- Create comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau and/or PowerBI to communicate findings and support strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Support the development of new methodologies and tools to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, utilizing Power Query for data integration and transformation. Experience with Excel macros is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, or Finance preferred.
- 3+ years of experience or interactive exposure in a procurement/supply chain/sourcing/analytics role.
- Experience in fast paced CPG environment is a plus.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to articulate and formulate a valid conclusion and recommendation.
