You Are

This role reports to the Director of Beverage Manufacturing and is responsible for co‑manufacturer relationship management, capacity & throughput matrices, and New Product Development RFQs and negotiations. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Purchasing, Planning, QA/QC, Legal, Product Development—to develop and foster relationships with current and new manufacturing partners, assist in identifying potential external partners, and focus on continuous improvement throughout Nutrabolt and Bloom Nutrition’s Beverage Co‑manufacturing global network.

You're Good At
  • Oversee conversion costs including labor, overhead, margins, scrap, re‑work, and changeovers/supplier specification changes for assigned functional areas.
  • Identify and capture cost‑reduction and efficiency opportunities collaboratively.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned with Nutrabolt’s Stage Gate process to maximize product quality, total cost, and delivery.
  • Ensure expedient and compliant implementation of new contracts.
  • Support the Director of Beverage in evaluating new global manufacturer site economics and viability for strategic business needs.
  • Lead plant trials, first production runs, and commercialization efforts across functions.
  • Partner with Product Development and Quality on process feasibility and line compatibility.
  • Coordinate with planning and logistics teams throughout the commercialization process.
  • Align raw materials, packaging, and capacity with production plans.
  • Manage short‑term disruptions and contingency planning.
  • Represent sourcing on all NPD calls with co‑manufacturers, aligning with production allocation based on TCO, capability, capacity, and other criteria.
  • Track and validate co‑manufacturer take or pay progress and incentives/rebates.
  • Oversee onboarding of new co‑manufacturer partners after sourcing vetting and QA cGMP audits are approved.
What You Contribute
  • Degree(s) in Business Administration, Economics, Food Science, Package Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of industry experience in co‑manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, or operations management.
  • Experience managing multi‑site global manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in supplier management, negotiation, contract development and analysis, supplier evaluation, price/cost analysis, and TCO.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
  • Capacity to work under tight deadlines.
  • Will travel up to 25% or more for supplier visits and conferences.
