Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal leadership and external supply partners to support strategic sourcing initiatives. Core responsibilities include:
- Managing raw material qualifications, tracking approval status, gathering required documentation, HTS import codes, confirming MOQs and shipping origin details.
- Maintaining the end‑to‑end raw material qualification process.
- Owning the raw material vendor setup process, collecting documentation, and providing clear allocation instructions.
- Supporting raw material ordering, managing transfers, coordinating expedites, and facilitating trial production needs.
- Maintaining strong relationships with flavor partners, communicating new product needs, sharing forecast updates, and confirming pricing.
- Supporting raw material contracting, assisting in material run‑out analyses, identifying risk windows, and offering recommendations for negotiation.
- Updating and collaborating on the BOM tool with key stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and planning.
- Gathering, analyzing, and reporting supply market intelligence on tariff impacts, freight cost fluctuations, and other external factors.
- Publishing quarterly freight lane updates by validating assumptions and ensuring accuracy.
- Creating comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau and/or PowerBI.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement data‑driven solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Supporting the development of new methodologies and tools to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Developing advanced Excel models, utilizing Power Query for data integration and transformation; experience with Excel macros is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, or finance preferred.
- 3+ years of experience or interactive exposure in a procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or analytics role.
- Experience in a fast‑paced CPG environment is a plus.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to articulate valid conclusions and recommendations.
- Strong financial acumen and an understanding of supply chain and procurement processes, with the ability to recommend automation opportunities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query; experience with macros is preferred.
