Buyer; ONSITE

Buyer (ONSITE) – Contract – Austin, TX

Pay Rate: $25–30/hr onsite.

• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) using MRP software; track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
• Communicate with vendors regarding open orders, scheduling, and RFQs.
• Communicate with the appropriate departments/purchase requesters about order statuses, including any delays or issues.
• Negotiate prices, lead times, and terms with vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Purchase items from online vendors as required by our MRP software.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly PO reports.
• Work with the accounting department to research inaccuracies between receipts and invoices.
• Obtain RMAs from suppliers and process DMR parts through the system.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities according to current demands.
• Ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Docs/Sheets.
• Detail-oriented.
• Technical parts knowledge, especially electronic components, preferred.
