Founded in 2019, the company brought together a team of CPG leaders, cancer researchers, US attorneys, and nutritionists to overcome long-standing challenges in the Food and Beverage Industry. The firm’s founder has extensive experience in the development of nanocarriers for cancer therapeutics.

In the past-year, Nulixir sales have grown ~8x with strong interest from small, mid-size and many large CPG companies to partner with Nulixir and incorporate the technology in their products. Nulixir boasts an impressive board of senior executives from companies like Pepsi, Danone, McKinsey & Company, Paine Schwartz Partners, etc. The company currently has 30+ employees with a stellar executive team who come from food B2B companies such as ADM, Givaudan, Kerry, and ex-MBB consultants.

About

the Role

Nulixir is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Operations & Quality Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of supply chain activities at our Austin manufacturing facility.

This role will serve as the onsite counterpart to our Supply Chain Manager
, helping translate production and supply plans into disciplined execution across receiving, inventory management, warehouse operations, production readiness, material reconciliation and outbound shipments.

This is a highly hands-on position. The successful candidate will spend significant time on the warehouse and production floor physically verifying materials, inventory, production readiness and finished-goods shipments, while also developing and improving the processes, SOPs and documentation that support these activities.

The role will also support quality activities specifically related to raw materials, packaging, warehousing and supply chain
, including material traceability, expiration management, damaged or nonconforming materials, supplier-quality issues and GMP-compliant warehouse procedures. A separate Quality Manager will retain ownership of the broader Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities Inbound Receiving & Raw Materials
  • Oversee onsite receiving of ingredients, packaging materials and other production-critical supplies.
  • Physically verify incoming materials, including quantities, lot information, condition and applicable documentation.
  • Ensure receiving records, COAs and other required documentation are accurately completed and maintained.
  • Coordinate large inbound deliveries based on warehouse capacity, production schedules and outbound activity.
  • Ensure materials are appropriately identified, statused and stored in designated warehouse locations.
  • Identify damaged, incorrect or nonconforming materials and coordinate resolution with the Supply Chain Manager, Quality Manager and suppliers.
  • Support raw-material intake activities, including documentation review, retain samples and coordination of required identity testing.
Inventory & Material Control
  • Maintain accurate physical inventory and material-location records for ingredients, packaging, WIP and finished goods.
  • Lead monthly inventory counts and conduct routine cycle counts as required.
  • Ensure receipts, transfers, production consumption, returns, adjustments and shipments are accurately reflected in applicable inventory systems.
  • Maintain lot-level traceability and accurate rack/shelf-level material locations.
  • Investigate physical-to-system inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage expiration and at-risk inventory, including established 60-day/30-day expiration reviews.
  • Maintain appropriate controls and physical segregation for Quarantined, Released, Hold, Rejected and expired materials.
  • Support FIFO/FEFO inventory practices where applicable.
Production & Packaging Readiness
