Supply Chain & Logistics, Logistics Coordination
* This role is based in our South Austin HQ. The team works in the office Monday–Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Made In is the leader in the digitally-native kitchen space. We bring chef expertise and centuries-old cookware manufacturing techniques to craft professional-quality kitchen tools for the home and professional cook. We are backed by some of the best chefs in the world and have been featured in publications and shows such as the TODAY Show, NY Times, Fast Company, Business Insider, and more.
To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Austin, TX
* reporting to our Director, Outbound Supply Chain. In this role, you will own the movement of product from our global manufacturing partners into our warehouse network - freight booking and forwarder coordination, customs clearance and classification, and the inbound ASN and receipt data that everything downstream depends on. You’ll run RFPs and negotiate rates with our transportation partners, keep landed cost and transit time honest, and recover duty we’re owed.
This is a highly collaborative role that will work cross-functionally with Planning, Fulfillment, Finance, Product, and Sourcing, as well as our external forwarder, broker, and warehouse partners.
Inbound Freight & Partner Management
- Quote and book inbound ocean, air, and domestic freight, balancing cost and transit time against inventory need.
- Coordinate with vendors and forwarders to secure on-time cargo pickup and keep shipments moving to plan.
- Lead RFPs and rate negotiations with freight forwarders and small parcel carriers, and hold partners accountable to the terms you negotiate.
- Manage our freight forwarder relationships day to day - performance against SLA, exception escalation, and rate validation against contracted terms.
- Manage small parcel and LTL carrier relationships, including service performance and cost review.
- Develop, maintain, and train vendors on our routing guide to drive compliance across the supplier base.
- Build the reporting and tools that turn freight cost, transit time, and ETA data into usable insight — supporting both day-to-day operational decisions and longer‑term network and transportation strategy.
- Manage customs clearance end to end with our broker, ensuring entries are accurate, timely, and fully documented.
- Support HTS classification for new and existing products, and maintain the classification database as the catalog changes.
- Support Post Summary Corrections, duty drawback, and duty refund processes, and track recoveries through to receipt.
- Maintain audit‑ready import records and support responses to CBP inquiries.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and leadership to support tariff and trade strategy, bringing the classification, valuation, and landed cost analysis behind those decisions.
- Create inbound ASNs in our ERP, including packing list review and PO matching to ensure quantities and costs are correct before receipt.
- Track inbound ASN ETAs and manage delivery appointments with warehouse partners.
- Keep ETA and receipt data current in our ERP so Planning, Fulfillment, Finance, Product, and Sourcing are working from accurate inbound visibility.
- Investigate and resolve receiving variances with warehouses and vendors, and drive corrective action on recurring root causes.
- Identify and lead process improvement and automation opportunities across the inbound workflow.
- Manage our offshore FBA coordinator, who executes the day‑to‑day deployment of inventory into Amazon's fulfillment network - you own the process, the outcome, and the partner relationships behind it.
- Oversee translation of the demand…
