Maintenance Custodian Associate – Sam's Club – Austin, TX

Join Sam's Club as a Maintenance Custodian Associate and help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. The role requires you to be on your feet for entire shifts, adapt quickly to changing scenarios, and maintain a positive attitude while ensuring a clean, safe environment for all members and associates.

$18.00/hr – $25.00/hr

• Ensure members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors.
• Maintain a positive attitude and ensure members have a great experience from start to finish.
• Work on your feet for entire shift in physically demanding environments.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous‑material handling procedures, and report unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store them correctly, and place orders when supplies are low.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary.

• Minimum age 18 years.

• Experience in maintenance or custodial roles.
• Experience with safety procedures, hazardous material handling, or forklift spotting.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.

Primarily hourly, may include performance‑based bonus awards and premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
