KI is looking for a Project Supervisor to join our Installation team! This hands‑on role oversees and participates in the installation of commercial furniture products, ensuring quality and accuracy in the field. This position is based in Texas, and we prefer candidates who reside in or near Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Austin. This role requires extensive travel throughout the territory.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to job sites to properly install and/or troubleshoot KI, OEI and UNICOR product lines.
- Read and interpret architectural blueprints and furniture floor prints.
- Provide customer service and technical support in the field to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Supervise and train vendors/subcontractors onsite.
- Attend and lead project‑related meetings, as needed.
- Act as the main point of contact for the customer and/or vendor while onsite in the field.
- Communicate effectively to the Regional Manager or Project Manager regarding the installation status, product concerns, etc.
- Conduct quality inspections with the customers to develop punch list of deficiencies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of construction and/or installation experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and interpret floor plans and blueprints; strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) throughout the U.S.; KI provides a vehicle for road travel.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Hourly Pay Range: $28–35/hour (may vary from this scale based on experience, education, and location), with potential for overtime earnings.
