Exterior Light Duty Day Porter

Overview

Partners is seeking a dedicated Exterior Light Duty Day Porter to join our team and contribute to the overall maintenance and aesthetic appeal of a commercial property. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and safety of exterior areas, enhancing the curb appeal of the property.

• Empty outside trash bins as necessary.
• Observe the condition of the property and promptly report or take action to correct unsafe conditions.
• Report maintenance items to building engineering staff.
• Keep garage or parking areas clean, including surrounding outside areas.
• Sweep and maintain all parking lots, keeping them free from debris.
• Physically walk the property to remove litter, debris, and/or pet droppings daily.
• Keep walkways and parking lots neat, clean, and free of litter.
• Transfer trash and items left outside the dumpster into the dumpster (as applicable).
• Detail the property regularly, using a blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean.
• Regularly check and report necessary exterior lighting fixtures.
• Keep work areas clean and drains clear.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter, raking, sweeping, and shoveling as necessary.
• Maintain awareness of proper safety precautions.
• Always maintain a pleasant attitude towards all building customers and staff.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to follow directions.
• Availability for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures.
