Director of Engineering

• Develop and implement White Lodging’s long‑term strategy for the engineering department, aligning it with overall company goals and objectives.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high‑performing team of engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional growth.
• Ensure the technical excellence and quality of engineering projects, providing technical expertise and problem‑solving as needed.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
• Manage the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to support the engineering department’s goals.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Front Desk, F&B, and Sales to ensure effective communication and coordination of engineering efforts.

• Engineering management experience in hospitality preferred.
• Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Familiarity with union labor contract preferred (if relevant).
• Any required licenses or certifications (HVACR, EPA, Certified Pool Operator, etc.).
