Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite).
Industry: Aviation / Construction.
Area of Specialty: Project Management / Structural Projects / Vertical Construction.
- Lead the comprehensive management (budget, schedule, scope, quality) for one of the most complex vertical aviation projects in the country.
- Proactively manage all contractual obligations, including major change orders, claims, RFI/Submittal processes, and adherence to the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Airport Project Manager (APM), design teams, and a vast array of stakeholders (airlines, operations, city departments).
- Conduct detailed analysis of project cost reports (eCAPRIS) and technical requirements, ensuring the project remains on track and within budget.
- Oversee the project close‑out phase, ensuring successful turnover of all records, including As‑Built Drawings and O&M Manuals.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, managing complex infrastructure projects.
- MANDATORY: Demonstrated experience managing a complete Concourse build‑out at an active, commercial airport.
- REQUIRED: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (must have or be obtained within 9 months of hire).
- Deep expertise in either MEP/IT/FP/BAS systems or Structural/Architectural vertical disciplines.
- Proficiency in project controls software including Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and risk management skills in a live operations environment.
