** About the Role
** The M&A Project Manager will support the execution of the company’s growth plans in the energy sector by coordinating and managing M&A processes and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.##
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead and coordinate bidding processes for the acquisition of energy projects, ensuring robust analysis, documentation, and strategic alignment.
* Manage and oversee transaction execution when bids are awarded, ensuring smooth progress across all work streams.
* Drive the negotiation of purchase agreements in close collaboration with the Legal department.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for Ferrovial’s Finance team, supporting and coordinating all Due Diligence activities.
* Monitor and supervise compliance with contractual conditions throughout the entire closing process.
* Ensure effective information flow among finance, analytics, development, legal, and technical teams during M&A transaction execution.##
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with further education in finance).
* Strong knowledge of project finance is essential.
* Preferably, a Master’s in Finance, MBA from a top-tier business school, or CFA certification.
* Proven experience in M&A operations within the infrastructure sector, particularly with complex financing structures.
* Fluency in English (near‑native or very high level).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
