We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven VP of Transportation Operations to lead our Austin market. This executive will have full responsibility for market performance—overseeing operations, financial outcomes, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery and sustained growth.

• Provide executive oversight for all transportation and operational functions in the Austin market
• Maintain full P&L accountability and drive financial performance
• Lead and develop high‑performing teams, including staff and independent contractor drivers
• Ensure fleet readiness, vehicle utilization, and maintenance efficiency
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, city officials, and key stakeholders
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and training programs
• Analyze operational and financial KPIs to drive continuous improvement
• Develop and manage annual budgets while controlling costs and maximizing profitability
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, and strategic growth initiatives
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence
• Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning and employee relations strategy

• 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, transportation, or general management
• Proven success managing full P&L responsibility
• Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build collaborative teams
• Strategic thinker with a data‑driven, results‑oriented mindset
