Job Description Summary

As a key member of a global team, responsible for service delivery and ownership of the appropriate location within the Client’s estate, ensuring services are delivered to agreed contractual service quality, commercial and compliance requirements.

Job Title

Workplace Manager

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Workplace team within the assigned location and own the working environment to ensure a consistent high‑quality workplace for colleagues and visitors.
  • Line‑manage the location’s Workplace team, ensuring compliance with C&W processes, client expectations and changing requirements.
  • Interpret and promote the client’s values and the Operating Principles of the C&W‑Client contract.
  • Understand Client priorities globally and how they apply to the location.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are deployed and, where changes are required, provide an evidence‑based case to the Regional Workplace Manager.
  • Develop measurable development plans for all direct reports.
  • Report non‑compliant performance to line management and HR.
Supply Chain
  • Guarantee all third‑party services meet global contract commitments.
  • Recommend supplier changes when quality, commercial or compliance issues arise.
Service Quality
  • Maintain key relationships with client colleagues and act as a trusted source of assistance.
  • Collaborate with other WMs, sharing innovations across regions.
  • Manage the 9‑point KPI system and provide management reporting.
  • Oversee minor works and resource deployment.
  • Update the Workplace Guide for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with client IT to ensure seamless services (access, security, visitor management, etc.).
  • Engage with C&W research & insight material for continuous improvement.
Commercial
  • Manage cost against budget, reporting findings and identifying savings opportunities.
  • Identify risks or threats to budget timely.
Compliance
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date commercial risk register to mitigate potential effects.
  • Manage health and safety to reduce lost‑time incidents and fulfil audit requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with Client Workplace foundation standards.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives as directed by client.
  • Implement and maintain the client Business Continuity Programme.

Benefits and Compensation

Cushman & Wakefield provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time away from work. Compensation for this role ranges from $86,615.00 to $, depending on factors such as collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, market rates, and applicant experience. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
