About Timescapes

Founded in New Zealand in 2017, Timescapes is transforming how construction teams build - helping them work faster, safer, and smarter without compromising on quality or environmental consciousness. Our customers love us because we keep them on schedule and provide complete transparency for everyone involved in their projects.

We're looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Sales Leader with experience in Construction Tech to join Timescapes as our Director of Sales, North America.

In this role, you’ll lead the evolution of our sales strategy and execution, win cornerstone customers, and lead a lean, focused team as we scale from early traction to sustained market presence.

About the Role:

The Director of Sales for North America is a critical leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and market share expansion across the United States and Canada. In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets by developing and executing a comprehensive and results-driven sales strategy. You will possess a deep understanding of the North American construction market, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of optimizing sales processes, and leading and scaling high-performing sales teams.

You will have built high performing sales teams before and know how to drive accountability, process and results without over complicating things. Coaching, hiring and developing top sales talent will be second nature to you and you will bring the energy and urgency needed to win.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop, implement, and continually refine a comprehensive sales strategy specifically tailored for the North American Construction market, aligning with overall company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify key growth opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Define clear sales objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics to track progress and ensure accountability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast sales, set budgets, and allocate resources effectively to maximise ROI

Revenue Generation & Target Achievement

  • Lead the North American sales team (currently 2 Account Executives and 1 BDR) to consistently achieve and exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage with the right construction projects at the right time, whether through general contractors, project owners, or trade partners.
  • Drive new business acquisition through effective prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts to maximize expansion opportunities.
  • Support the exploration, launch and ongoing management of channel partners
  • Actively help to sell and close deals in person and virtually, while managing and mentoring the sales team.
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador, representing the company at live and virtual events

Sales Process Optimization & Efficiency

  • Analyze existing sales processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Introduce structure where needed, without over engineering. Implement lightweight tools and reporting processes to drive visibility and accountability.
  • Leverage CRM systems and sales analytics tools to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and implement best practices for sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to ensure accuracy and predictability.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Drive a culture of excellence, ownership and resilience
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance individual and team capabilities and performance.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward achievement
  • Lead by example, actively participating in deals to support the team
