Accounting Manager

Our client, a multi-brand restaurant group, is seeking an Accounting Manager to support its growing operations.

Location: This is an on-site role based in Austin, TX

Job Description: This organization manages several well-known restaurant concepts and is building out a centralized accounting function as it scales. This job is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, multi-entity environment and enjoys improving processes in a fast-growing business.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities
• Oversee general ledger activity and review journal entries for GAAP compliance
• Manage key balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals
• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate work with cross-functional and outsourced teams
• Maintain internal controls, support audits, and contribute to system/process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff
• Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
