Management Analyst IV:
Administration (Austin District) is a part-time professional position based in Austin, TX. The role provides advanced analytical work, evaluating business functions, developing and monitoring performance data, and recommending improvements to enhance organizational productivity. - Analyzes and evaluates business functions and activities; develops and monitors performance data.
- Develops new or modifies existing administrative programs, policies or regulations.
- Develops recommendations for improvement and corrective action to standardize or improve current processes or systems.
- Investigates and researches new or improved business and management practices for application to district programs or operations.
- Assists the District Engineer as directed in maintaining effective and coordinated operations of the district.
- Oversees studies of employee/organizational efficiency and productivity and recommends changes or improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures.
- Researches, plans, coordinates and develops programs, projects, activities or procedures to increase productivity, efficiency and streamline operations.
- Performs other job responsibilities as assigned. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
Education: Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year per year basis.
Experience: 3 YEARS experience in business analysis, methods analysis, strategic planning, project management or related function. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.

Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
